Authorize negotiation and execution of an interlocal agreement with Pflugerville Independent School District for the provision of startup costs for new pre-kindergarten classrooms for three year olds, to expand affordable high-quality early care and education for Austin/Travis County residents, for an initial five-month term ending on September 30, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $134,400, with four 12-month extension options each in an amount not to exceed $128,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $646,400. Funding: $134,400 is available in the Austin Public Health Department’s Operating Budget. Funding for the remaining years of the agreement is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.
