Authorize negotiation and execution of a three-party agreement with the Austin Tourism Public Improvement District Corporation and the Visitors Bureau d/b/a Visit Austin to manage the Austin Tourism Public Improvement District (District) by administering the assessments and providing and contracting for services and improvements for the District for a ten-year term beginning January 1, 2025, in amounts paid out of District assessments to compensate the corporation and Visit Austin for their administrative costs in accordance with the District service plan. Funding: Funding will be available out of the estimated District assessment collections in the service plan for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 of $29.7 million.
