Approve a resolution authorizing the filing of eminent domain proceedings and payment to acquire the property interests needed for the Little Walnut Creek - 800 Hermitage Water Quality Improvement Project for the public use of water quality infrastructure, requiring the acquisition of approximately 0.455 acres (19,841 square feet) in fee simple of Lot 1, Block A, Heritage Hills Section One, a subdivision in Travis County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 18, Page 98, Plat Records of Travis County, Texas, less and except: 0.0727 of one acre being a portion of Lot 1, Block A, Heritage Hills Section One, granted to the State of Texas, filed March 17, 2023, recorded in Document Number 2023027379, Official Public Records of Travis County, Texas, currently appraised at $198,410 subject to an increase in value based on updated appraisals, a Special Commissioners’ award, negotiated settlement, or judgment. The owner of the needed property is F9 Properties, LLC. The property is located at 800 Hermitage Drive, Austin, Texas 78753. The general route of the project is limited to North Interstate 35 frontage road and Hermitage Drive. Funding: $198,410 is available in the Watershed Protection Department’s Capital Budget.
