Authorize negotiation and execution of three contracts for vegetation management services on energized distribution lines for Austin Energy with Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC; Davey Tree Surgery Co; and Wright Tree Service, Inc., each for an initial term of two years with four one-year extension options, for total contract amounts not to exceed $168,000,000 divided equally among the contractors or the Department may choose any contractor that is available to provide the needed service. Funding: $19,250,000 is available in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Operating Budget of Austin Energy. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.
