Authorize negotiation and execution of a contract for public safety camera hardware and software, installation, maintenance, and support for the Austin Police Department with Hitachi Global Digital Holdings Corporation d/b/a Hitachi Vantara LLC, for an initial term of three years, with up to two one-year extension options, for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,200,000. Funding: $132,040 is available in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Operating Budget of the Austin Police Department. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.
