Authorize execution of a contract for construction services for the Family Violence Shelter and Protection project with STR Constructors, LLC, in the amount of $8,383,000, plus a $200,000 contingency, for a total contract amount not to exceed $8,583,000. [Note: This contract will be awarded in compliance with City Code Chapter 2-9A (Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program) through the achievements of Good Faith Efforts with 44.97% MBE and 0.17% WBE participation.
