Authorize execution of a contract for construction services for the Braker Lane Extension from Samsung Boulevard to Dawes Place project with Joe Bland Construction, LP, in the amount of $22,536,726 plus a $2,253,673 contingency, for a total contract amount not to exceed $24,790,399. [Note: This contract will be awarded in compliance with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program) and City Code Chapter 2-9A (Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program) by meeting the goal with 8.62% DBE participation].
